In May 2019, a film crew from Los Angeles visited
Deutschkatharinenberg on behalf of the Discovery TV network. Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Neubauer was interviewed about the scientific research project in front of the Fortunastollen visitor mine, in the valley of the mountain massif where “our” historic mine is located above. This was preceded by the surveying of the opened mine with laser scanners. Leslie Greif’s team was given an insight into the entire project and filmed at various locations. Also at the top of the “Weisser Stein” mountain massif. This work in 2019 was funded by Discovery. The cooperation of the film team from the USA with the film crew Artrejo Berlin worked professionally and in a pleasant atmosphere.
